In winter it’s so hard to get dressed for me. More clothes needed mean more careful matching needed and thicker clothes mean in general more expensive clothes. This usually leaves me with one coat and one pair of shoes that I detest, and a lot of basics with no personality. I look like a wintry plain Jane.
Summer on the contrary, lighter and cheaper clothes mean I can look different every day, mix and match more easily as I have fewer clothes on and I can also have a more reasonably sized closet. As a consequence I feel that my personality shines through much more through my clothing.
I didn’t bias the question towards any season in particular though as I want to know if y’all share any similar feeling. I imagine latitude and budget also play a factor. 🙂
